Custom Styles file

So styles for layer are now resource.

I want to clarify a few things.

  1. If I want to share my styles, does this mean I need to find the location of this CustomStyles.asl file and then send it over?
  2. What if I want to have a separate file for a specific set of styles. What should I do then?

Thanks in advance

You can find the files in the subfolder “asl” of Krita’s resource folder, under Windows this would usually be “c:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\krita\asl\”.

I can’t tell you if whole libraries of layerstyles can be created in Krita, I haven’t tried it yet. But Krita is able to handle Adobe’s ASL files, and if it’s a library it can call and use every single layerstyle.
It is not possible to include layerstyles in a bundle, you have to share them as single files or zipped in archives.

I hope I’ve understood your questions correctly, so if you wanted to know something beside that, I have to excuse my misinterpretation.
