Alright, so I’ve been using Krita for almost a year, and for some reason when I use my drawing tablet there is a 2-second delay when I try brushing the stroke. For example, if I try drawing a line it won’t register after I move my pen a bit more up before it finally registers. It seems to only happen on Krita though like there’s no delay on any other drawing sites I use If I draw something with a mouse it works fine. I have tried many things like restarting, downloading the latest version of Krita going into configuration and settings to check the tablet I’m not sure what’s wrong.
I use a Gaomon tablet (although I don’t think its the tablet most likely Krita)

If you move the stylus rapidly and continuously left and right across the canvas, does it start drawing after two seconds or does it start drawing after it moves a certain distance?
There are many thousands of people who regularly use krita with a large variety of different tablets, including Gaomon, with no problems at all.
When there is a problem with the tablet it’s always the tablet related settings, the tablet utility configuration settings or the tablet driver that’s the cause of the problem.
Mine (Wacom under win11) does this on occasion. I’m pretty sure in my case the (cursor) drivers are getting confused…I generally have to reboot and then everything is fine…
I’m not entirely sure i just noticed it yesterday and it happened again. I went back into Krita and it works like there’s no delay but the thing is I just opened krita normally I did not restart my computer or anything it just works now. It starts to draw after I move it from a certain distance
