Disabling Double Click to close Polygon Tool shape

In 5.2.9, Krita had a bug that prevented the double click to close shape for stylus and that helped put down vertices faster and close to each other. This can get annoying when you are trying to make shapes that do have corners close to each other, which can trigger the shape to close when you are working faster. The way I always close shapes is by completing the shape, clicking at the first vertex/point

So a way to disable the double click would help for those who use the polygon tool as a way to select a shape and fill it at once

+1, I mean it’s a useful bug and can’t see why they can’t add it back in as a toggleable feature

I’m 100% with you on this. I lay down vertices pretty fast with the polygon lasso and the “bug”, which predates 5.2.9 by… as long as I can remember using Krita, was actually a feature for me. Since 5.3.0 I’m constantly inadvertently closing selections and it’s driving me bananas.
