We also have the Matrix Network Chat, usable via browser and dedicated apps (choose what you prefer), it is reachable via the Chat button in the header-bar of every K-A page, there you can enter the channel #krita-users-general:kde.org to chat, alternatively you can use https://matrix.to/#/#krita-users-general:kde.org via your browser (the same link the Chat button left of the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the forum opens).
For instance, the client Element, I’m using for Matrix, with the channel Kita-Users open looks like the screenshot below, but you can choose between some different clients for every OS, just take the one you like best:
