Does krita support the new surface slim pen's haptic motor?

Type of device* : stylus
Brand and version of the device: surface slim pen 2
System** : win11

* graphics tablet/display tablet/2-in-1 laptop/Android tablet
** Windows/Linux/Mac/Android, + version (you’ll find it in Help -> Show system information for bug reports)

Description of the issue (you can include screenshots): Hi, there.
I just bought a surface pro 8 and using it for daily sketching, feeling great about everything except that, the new surface slim pen has a haptic motor, which allows the pen to sort of generate a hand-writing feel.
I tested it in microsoft whiteboard, it feels good, but it seems not working in krita.
So I’m wondering if Krita supports it or not.
If yes, how?
If no, please add it in the future, it would be really nice.

I’m sure the answer is ‘no’ so I’ve changed the category to Developer Questions.

If it’s not supported by Qt, then it’s basically not supported by Krita since Krita doesn’t interface with any graphics tablet/pen directly.

I hadn’t even heard of this  Our test Surface Pro is still version three… Also, the Surface Pro 8 isn’t even available yet where I live.

OK, thank you.

Not really following what you said but, thank you for answering.

Thank you for answering.
The haptic feedback is a cool thing but, it’s not that important though.
Krita is a really nice app and you guys are doing a really good job, I appreciated it.
Wish the Krita community will grow bigger and better!
Chears.

Qt is the framework Krita is built on. Qt is handling all the tablet stuff, not Krita.
