Drawing of a horse - my first try in Krita

I don’t know which brushes you used and if you used only the standard Krita brushes, but if you don’t know the bundles SK Sketching in Krita V1 and especially the second one Sketch V2. (SK2) Pleasure to draw from “our” brush maker @RamonM, I highly recommend them, it’s unlikely to find anything better when it comes to imitating pencils and crayons for Krita. Even if you can occasionally find a good pencil or crayon in other bundles, you currently won’t find anything comparable in this quantity and quality.

You can find the links to the bundles in the first post of the linked topics, furthermore you can find in the topics pictures that were created with it and even more interesting facts, to ‘Sketch V2. (SK2) Pleasure to draw’ you can also find a video of Ramon in the opening post. If you watch the video on youTube, you can also find there, via the Krita logo below the video, to the other videos in the official Krita channel, there are among other things even more extremely recommendable and highly interesting videos by Ramon on the subject of brushes, and many other interesting topics.

You can find more bundles from Ramon in his ‘vault’, all of them are free of charge:

Here are the direct links to the above-mentioned bundles:
