It was difficult to find a fitting motif because self-imposed imprisonment happens a lot more to humans. I’ve chosen the raccoon stuck in a rusty and time-worn grid. These little creatures accidentally get themselves into trapped situations.
The Eight of Swords also means isolation, being powerless/helpless (also depicted by the ivy covering its eyes like a blindfold) but getting the chance to find new perspectives on a difficult situation (hope and help are near).
