The assistant tools are really great in Krita, I’ve been trying to use them a bit more to see how they feel. My only beef is with the ellipse & concentric ellipse assistants. They are really difficult to position due to the fact that we can’t easily transform it, except through the handle points. This works good for the other tools, but not the ellipse tools.
I saw a sketchbook tutorial and it looks like they really nailed the functionality. Basically they have one axis you can modify (through one-axis scale), but you can also scale on all axis and rotate and move it which makes it much easier to use in practice.
