Emu Koishi (redesign)

This is Emu Koishi @nanochima OC’s I took a break from studying and practicing, So I drew her, What do you think? Actually, I like to draw from imagination, or creating new characters, more than copy other’s ocs, I use these OC’s or characters like inspirations or references.

I like your idea of the multicoloured stars, which look like they were made out of a material glittering in rainbow colours. Also the bolder blue stripes. :+1:
However, these type of stars probably work best when looked at close-up and may be difficult to reproduce. So I understand why they may not have been in Nano Chima’s original design. I also miss the Krita logo a little. Not so much from a design-, but from a promotion standpoint.

Great work overall! :light_blue_heart:

Thanks, about the glittery stars It’s made using a brush I created when I created the artwork, using stars pattern in krita

So you mean the brush paints the stars in this colour already? My guess was that you maybe cut out the stars from the blue skirt and it is a multicolour background shining through.

Actually, it’s not like that,I drew the stars on a mask paint layer upper the skirt color layer, and the stars brush are based on stars pattern, And for the colorful background looking it’s just the hue option on the color group,

Sorry for replying now, and also very touched - very well drawn. Thank you very much for liking her and drawing her. Please forgive me for not being able to say more words to praise.(很抱歉现在才回复,另外很感动——画得非常好。非常感谢您能够喜欢她,而且将她画出来。请饶恕我说不出更多语言来夸赞。)

It’s okay, as they say “better late than never”, it’s the least I can do. I thought a lot about making more drawings on her, changing and creating other designs, but I hesitated, because I don’t know anything about her lore. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t mean that I wanted to steal the character or her design from you. Anyway, thanks for your respectful response. Have a nice day!
