Equirectangular Perspective Tool

Hello there. I have been using Krita for well over 4 years now and a background artist! I am still learning newer ways and tools in Krita to make my art processes much smoother and more efficient. I was wondering if there is a tool in Krita that is already present or could be developed that can create Equirectangular Perspectives. Although it may be a niche tool as it is only used for VR or 360 images, it can be quite helpful, nonetheless.

I wonder if there is a way to implement this other than using a grid template and creating over them. I am currently learning how to do them with the help of this Youtuber .

Could multiple fish-eye assistants from the assistance tools perhaps do the job?

Tried using Fish Eye Perspective initially but it doesn’t consider various vanishing points and the curves from one point to another, lets say from Left Point to the Right Point.

Here is a Sketch I did using the grid above, this may not be possible by having Multiple Fish Eye perspective tools sadly :frowning:

Have you tried following this method: Krita Assistant Tool [Part 4] - Fish Eye Point (5 point perspective setup) - YouTube

But I am all for more perspective tools. I made a feature request recently around a perspective tool update. Take a look here: Perspective Tool Upgrade

If you want to see those changes please vote on the feature.
You can also leave a detailed comment describing what you would like implemented.
Thanks.
