The transformation is so smooth. A suggestion would be to make the colours contrasting and alternating like black and white (with red tint). That will probably make this more hypnotic.

You will fall into a deep sleep.
There are some unfortunate compression artifacts with areas that have low contrast colour/brightness differences.

Are .KB files visible with safari browser?
They’re looping animated .webp files and support is in all the major browsers, especially Chrome/Chromium because Google has been the developer of this format.
However, Wikipedia has this to say about .webp and the Safari browser:
Safari is adding support for WebP in version 14, to be released with iOS 14 and macOS Big Sur.
I use .webp because they give a smaller file size than animated .gif at an acceptable quality for forum posting (3MB file size limit).

OH WOW !!! I had no idea that could happen!
A direct download Dropbox link can deliver an animated .gif to the browser. It can in my Palemoon browser anyway. Do you see this in Safari?
