Experimental Still Life (Clone Brush + Impasto Effects) 🤓

@Mythmaker …thanks for your reply. Do you have any suggestions, how to make a thick oil brush?

Congratulations, @Mythmaker. Your artwork is now part of the featured gallery.

May I have your permission to post this in K-A’s Mastodon account? If yes, I will credit your user name (unless you specify a different name). If no, no problem. Please @ me in your reply so I will be pinged.

It’s a bit strange having this featured after 3+ years! :hushed:

I’m okay with you posting it on Mastodon as long as it has context. Well - I suppose the title is self explanatory anyway…

The clone brush painting isn’t something I’ve used very often - I can only think of this painting and its sequel outside of test scribbles.

I’m still hoping we’ll get the clone - colour smudge - lightness functionality we’ve discussed before. It’s one way we could achieve a dirty brush effect with existing engines.

Thank you, @Mythmaker. See if you like the context given in the post:

Sounds good! Thanks! :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s all explained in this thread anyway. I suppose I worry that the point can get lost when it’s re-posted elsewhere.
