I think that the composition would be better without these bubbles.

The bubbles are in a completely different style than the render, your render is frothy and fluffy, nice, and the bubbles are very sharp so I don’t know what to look at. Because your subject is the character, and because the bubbles don’t match the rest of the render, the eye only goes to them.

If you really think that it would improve this work, I would draw these bubbles manually or remove them altogether. Then the composition would be more legible.

you also carefully rendered the belly and thighs, which makes the eye go there secondarily, which sexualizes the character and if that was your intention, then go for it, but if that’s not exactly what you wanted, then the face also needs to be rendered in the same way to be interesting for the eye

Thanks,
I didn’t intend to portray the character that way, so I’d like to render the face with more detail as you said, but I’m not sure how I’d go about doing that, could you explain what I could do?

As for the bubbles, I think you’re right, they do look out of place now that you mention it
Thanks

I think you can try to add more details on the face, e.g. eyelashes, nostrils, maybe more details in the eye(iris, eyelids)? I think it would perfect her face, I see that she is very stylized, so it’s up to you to decide what your style is in this situation.

The second thing you can consider is subtracting details around the face, which will make the face appear more finished. (have details, e.g. in the chest area)

You can also consider adding more sharp edges near the face, because you avoid them in other places and then the face would stand out more.

Here you have to make your own decisions, because I see that you have your own style and it’s nice that you act according to yourself :sparkling_heart:

If you agree, I can try to add corrections to your work, but I understand if it’s not in your comfort zone (i mean overpaint)

I’m going to try and correct it myself first, but if I’m unsuccessful then I’ll inform

I’m guessing you were mainly referring to the white bubbles that are everywhere, but were you also referring to the ones by the face and the ones on the character ?

Hi!

I’m super proud of you. And how do you like it?

There are things that could be improved, but honestly this work is beautiful. :sparkles:

I’m glad I could help :sparkling_heart:

I didn’t pay attention to these bubbles on the characters before, I think it’s typically subjective, both variants are nice
