A little series of those Disney Fantasia Fairies, using acrylic and glitter. Canvas board in frames (no glass).
I wasn’t overly impressed with the dried result of the glitter glue here which said the glue dried clear. It left an obvious sheen. Had I known that I wouldn’t have extended it beyond the paint. Live and learn.
I used a different glue for this one which does dry totally invisible. Hurrah!
And the final one, WIP
: Gives ultra fine, iridescent glitter. The glue does dry clear but leaves an obvious high sheen so best used only over the exact bits you want the shimmer otherwise you get the ‘who spilled the wax?’ effect of the picture above (3rd one down) where you can see the thick stripe around the paint.
