I picked up the charcoal pack of @RamonM to sketch those as I saw the discussion in the bundle thread. I love how they look for sure.
One thing I am missing in comparison to traditional coal is the ability to move existing charcoal over the page

Would you look gor visual refrences for that?
I think this is probably the most visual example video.
The (charcoal blending) sponge will be loaded with powder and releases the coal while traveling. Also smearing the places that already are black.
