How do I merge a filter layer with multiple layers at once? But all my layers will remain separate.
Hello @soma_nag, and welcome to the forum!
Apply it to a group in which you put the layers, I don’t see another way to fulfill your requirement “to do it at once” at least in part.

If I merge layers one by one, the krita file is becoming very heavy. It is becoming about 15 to 16 gb. Is there any solution for this?
Like Michelist mentioned, group them and put the filter layer at the topmost spot of that group, that way it applies to all layers in that group. But “merging and keeping separate” is not possible because they’re opposite operations (like asking to cut paper without cutting it).
You can save them one by one and drop them from your picture to add them afterward as file layers.

Either you mean something different when you write “merging” or I don’t understand. Merging shouldn’t make the file bigger (just the opposite as it will be less layers than before). However it can be possible that the operation for a moment requires more memory which will be released again after a while.
I want to merge all the layers with the same filter mask layer, I need to keep the layers separate for my animation. Ok, I understand that it can’t be done but when I group and merge them separately, my krita file is becoming very heavy. Is there any solution for this?
When you group them you shouldn’t need to merge them. That’s the very point.
That is another story! Every frame adds its weight to your animation, but the usual trick is to split animations in smaller parts, called scene or shot, and to stitch them together at the end w´hen all scenes are ready. Da Vinci Resolve is a good and free program for such a task, but there are lots of other programs that can do it too.

You can use “file layers” to keep the memory footprint low but for animations they have limited use. Since they can’t be animated they probably only work for static scenes or backgrounds.
Is there a discord server for Krita where I can post videos of my problems?
Not an official one but you can post them here (if they’re small enough) or link to them.
The most competent users I expect at Brush Heaven, there is also a Krita server, but that’s meh, you can almost forget it.
But if you want us to see your video, then you can try it here in the forum, maximum allowed size is 3MB, or upload it to a platform like Vimeo, YouTube and the like, or even use your Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox accounts, all these are far better suited to publish content for a larger group.
Afterward uploading it somewhere, publish the link here.
And always keep in mind, don’t use platforms where it is mandatory to register to be able to access the content, this is the best way to not get support.
