Once again, I participated in the Paint Over Fast Competition at Revision 2026 
.
A little homage to the demoscene one could say.
We had 24 hours to finish the artwork (including sleep and breaks). Painted with Krita <3.
Here are a few steps (I. the chaos picture participants received made with Alchemy, II. the parts I chose to continue with, III. things are evolving, IV. the final artwork.)
This looks futuristic! I like that the finale pallete has dark cold colours. They work great with unusual sea creatures

Here is a brief description:
A little homage to the demoscene, Demoscene - Wikipedia, one could say. 
In front we can see tables and computer equipment (different kinds of computers, also a fan, drinks, snacks, lots of cables, keyboards. Five diverse looking, some of them ocean inspired, party people focus on one particular PC screen. It belongs to one of them demonstrating a demo tool. The others are making music with their synthesizer, giving feedback, listening to party announcements with a headset (probably a party organizer) and the shy little one in the right corner is trying its best to participate.
To make the background more lively, I added dancing creatures/aliens in front of the big screen that shows abstract and colorful patterns (probably a demo production from one of the party visitors). Party speakers are bringing powerful music to the dance floor and everybody is having a great time.
Wow! Color scheme, composition, characters…The artwork tells a story.
