“Let’s paint something” I said.
This was the first landscape and painting I’ve ever did, from scratch and without knowing any method, running from an idea to another. This was a nightmare to do x)
So if anyone wants to share any method / advice / critic, it will be gladly welcome ^^

I like your image. Has a surreal quality too it. Some part looks organic, that is they look like they are part of a living organism.
The use of a lighter value for the mountain in the back to give it depth works well. The specular highlights on the dunes/mountains near the water are a bit odd. The make the dunes look sphere shaped and bulging. Shading works in some areas. In the dunes some of the shading makes it look like there are holes that belong to some kind of organism.
As for advice:
Have a look at this months contest. It is all about landscape painting from a reference, which is a good way to learn.
