It’s been a long time since I painted anything and when I did, it was a work in progress that never got completed. I run out of steam very quickly these days. Still, here is my latest attempt. I hope to make the theme more exciting with embellishments after I have finished the figure.
I might have my first commission. I showed this to our head cook and explained that it isn’t finished yet. He was impressed and offered to pay me to paint up one of his role-playing characters. ![]()
This is really nice, I like the bounce light on the nose and chin. You might want to break up the symmetry in her hair.
I am working with the symmetry tool for now but before I add the final details I will remove the symmetry tool and create asymmetry in the whole figure. In the early stages of painting, my noses seem to be the focus of the image and I have to work on adjusting everything else. It is because I used to practice them a lot because I found them difficult. Now I find them one of the easiest shapes to create.
So far so good! Like the olive reflectory shadows under the nose and chin! Please continue! Congrats on potential commission!

Thank you @KRITAKOUGAR I love playing with reflected light in the shadows.
I turned off symmetry and I have created some folds in her tunic, added gloss to her eyes and improved her lips.
Decided to call it finished.
