Floating color palette

hellooo

I think I’m right here =

I think what’s useful is a floating color palette where you always have mixed colors to hand, you could also add it to the right-click menu.

You should take a look at this post by @SirPigeonz, in my eyes it is possible you are searching for something like this:

It is an extension or mod of @wojtryb’s great new plugin “Shortcut Composer”, what can be found here:

Are you looking for something like this?

Michelist

BTW: Actually, your feature request is quite meager, but considering the good comprehensibility of this wish, and the fact that there may already be a suitable solution, it is to be gotten over.

Add/Edit: Another idea would be to use the scratchpad in combination with the “Docker under Cursor”-Plugin. With scratchpad, you can mix colors, create temporary palettes, if you want to, and the DuC-Plugin is able to call the scratchpad docker and open it where your cursor is, so you can grab or mix colors.

Pie I created will help in what @DABurghardt wants to achieve but for now you have to create the palette as an image and keep it on top of the Layer stack.

[ SirPigeonz talking about his ToDo list incoming again ]
I plan to add ability to use Color Sampler Tool with Blend percentages in reference images so you can keep your palette as a ref image. For now you can only copy 100% color from ref images.
And of course you can hide and show ref images with a shortcut already, but probably something that appears close to the cursor would be better.

Although all of this is not exactly what @DABurghardt is looking for. It’s a close step.

I think this feature that we are talking here about should be part of bigger design concerning workflow and access to tools under the hand.

Overall I like the direction of this idea.

yes exactly, it should appear near the brush tip where you can set specific colors you need to paint the picture and a blending window with the color applied at the same time. If the tweezers are added at the same time, that’s a fine thing. If you get the programmed ^^ wow =)
either the color palette floats above it, or you can call it up with a right click in the brush palette.

I’ll see your proposal until then =) thank you very much
