I was just wondering if palette data in .kpl files is stored in an 8-bit format? The Palette docker appears quite 8-bit in nature.
I’m trying out 16-bit grayscale painting so trying to decide whether I need to avoid palettes altogether.
Thanks,

According to The Krita Palette format KPL — Krita Manual 5.0.0 documentation, palettes are stored in a color-managed way, including different bit-depths.
