Here is a test usage of the “back1808232” pattern in an old drawing of mine, in Krita:
Notice though, there wasn’t just a mere application of the pattern in this case, I had to edit a bit more. In order for the pattern to come out with a slope (A) and at that size, I set the tool options to a Scale of 60% (1) and Angle of 45 degrees (2). I had also created a new layer before (3):
Then I duplicated the pattern layer and shifted the copy layer a bit to give the effect shown in figure B:
I duplicated the layer again and moved it (C). Finally, I merged the three layers of the pattern and eliminated the parts that didn’t interest me.
