Here’s a slighty modified version of my entry for the october contest (which just happens to have won the competition, yay me ! ) with a more subtle color grading, and a few tweaks to tiny details that I’m pretty sure only bothered me.
Anyway, here’s Freyd, the hipster pumpkin, enjoying his new life in the forest, on this very first rocking chair he’s made by hand (you wouldn’t be tempted to sit on it though).
You may notice that in the early sketches, he was peeling chestnuts for his future guests. In the final image, he’s having fun with a good old Warioland 4 on GameBoy advance. It’s because Freyd is, like me, a lazybones : )
