Awesome picture! The chest reminds me somehow of "The Luggage"¹ from Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels.

Thank you so much! They have some similarities indeed. Mimic is just a monster who can’t walk and it just waits for victim, and the Luggage can walk and follows their master. Yes, I read it! As I remember Twoflower presented it to Rincewind as parting gift. Later the Luggage saved Rincewind’s life few times. Well, Discworld is one of my favorite book cycles for sure.
