This week has had some really cool developments thanks to a combination of community and dev involvement. There’s a new mirror canvas on mouse cursor, new “share curve” behavior in brush settings, and Know Zero has been working on a Japanese vertical text plugin. All of these started as a topic here on krita-artists then eventually got implemented. I think it has been really cool to see all these features become a reality after (lots) of community discussion.
Also this week the (probably) last update to Krita 4 was released. Krita 4.4.8 includes only two bug fixes and it’s really recommended if you’re on 4.4.5-7 you should update for those bug fixes. More information on the krita site.
Finally for the general bug trends there has been a small increase with 38 new bugs, 35 closed, for a total 3 new ones. Although few wishes/features have been completed so I would say it’s about even this week. If you’re trying out the beta please make sure to report new bugs at the bug tracker.
