[ Genshin Impact ] Fancomic - Treading the Threads of Law and Fate P3

Reading order is from right-to-left, following conventional Japanese manga style.

Actually updating every single social media I have out there can be tiring and I can forget some existed over time, and now is one such instance.

Nevertheless, here’s a piece I finished some time ago, I have since drawn a new piece after this one.

It is a continuation of a small thing I made here:

Hey, it’s really cool work! Maybe I would have liked it to have a bit less text density (more panels per this much dialogue).

If you don’t mind sharing, how do you handle the shading fills (uh, can’t recall the name for it)? Is it a collection of patterns that you then clip to shapes and shade with gradients as needed? The background in the first panel looks interesting too.

Not that it’s relevant, but I still don’t have Mona on my account

Thank you. Dialogue density is still a problem on my end, something I have yet to learn to curb.

Regarding the screentones/halftones, there’s the Krita option where you can fill a layer with screentones, and you’re free to adjust the screentone on the fly, and you can also use masks to limit the area the screentone layer covers on canvas.

Like this.

And yes, I feel among the current standard characters save for the two new ones, she seems to be very rare even as a 50-50 banner loss. It took me until near the end of last year (started playing in 2021) before I got her, and when I started the game I was actively trying to get her hahaha.
