This sort of thing happens to me a lot. When it does, I have to do
‘sudo exorcise krita && sanctify’
That usually fixes it until the next full moon.

Wait, you mean these are exorcism in Krita? I don’t follow the lore here

‘exorcise’ and ‘sanctify’ are system level Linux commands that you need to use when evil spirits take over an application. My computer is old and haunted and krita is so awesome that they keep trying to take it over.
It often happens and the image is a screenshot I took while they were looking out of the monitor and glaring at me.
