This is the way I’ve done vector in Krita (coming from Infinite Design). I’ve never done layer FX fills… Now I gotta go find out about that, lol.

Keep in mind, layer FX files have this problem of corruption, so maybe stay with the vector method until they fix it, at least on big production projects

i also have a similar problem, basically when i apply a gradient preset to a gradient map filter, , upon selecting a preset the colors in the gradient preset dont match what i initially picked when i created the preset , its like the color values get shifted to a brighter tone , so far the only way to fix this is go back to another file or layer that has the original preset , delete the old one and recreate it using a different name ( if the new name has any words similar to the old one they also get the same issue ) , it just keep happening every day , its very frequent
this is an example of what happens, here is the “corrupted” version , note that this issue dosent happens constantly to every gradient preset i made, but keep happening often enough i have to troubleshoot and recreate gradients almost every day for that reason.
