My pet portraits are usually fairly uninteresting because of the references I get from clients… however, every once in a while one comes along that has some interesting lighting aspects, like this Gypsy Vanner horse strolling along in the evening sun.

yes! this is not the tipical pose “heroic” or similar. This is humble, like a worker, and tender. Beautiful lighting and detail.

This is wonderful! At first glance, unzoomed, you think you’re looking at a great timed art photograph or a photo for a horse magazine, and then when you zoom in you see this fantastic brushwork. This is just great!
