This piece marked a turning point for me in 2022; the very first time, after years of practice, that I was completely satisfied with my work. Since then, I have been firmly convinced that anyone can draw; it simply requires lots of practice and the will to learn 
Looking back today, I notice a few mistakes, including the fact that the island isn’t centered, lmao
That reminds me of a tree I saw in a dream during the 2010s.

Actually slightly off center is a good visual technique to improve a piece, so it’s a good thing.
