Happy New Year!
I guess this is good inspiration for our current monthly challenge, so far I don’t really have an idea, but “Magical Adventure” pretty much screams for Pepper and Carrot

Here’s hoping your wishes come true and we don’t all get dragged away to the depths of dullness, dismotivation, and hidden dangers by tentacle monsters and never seen again. Maybe the tentacles just want to be friends and wave around like glowsticks, and the treasure is a peace offering. Sometimes you have to be optimistic.

% agree about optimism! I wish for Pepper to discover the tentacles taste like gummy bears and the treasure to not be a mimic and coins being real coins.
Btw, I have no idea why my brain really wanted those neon jelly like glowing tentacles. I had them in mind without knowing what they meant. But it was challenging to paint for sure!
Also, jelly monsters remind me this old sketch
