Thanks in advance for your help and I’m sorry for the mistakes. English is not my language. I will try to give as much explanation as possible (even if irrelevant), since my example image is bad and you can’t understand HAHAHA.
Let’s go. I’m already drawing well with Krita. I LOVE YOU KRITA s2. My doubt now is… I will animate my drawings in SPINE 2D. However, in this animation, I want a visual effect. FX. To do this I need to create a sequence of images.
I want to know if in Krita there is any brush OR setting for the brush to smooth my stroke. (Sorry for any mistakes, for not knowing how to explain what I want to do). Is that right? Smooth my stroke?
Like aiming assistance in game? (Bad example), I wanted to know if there is a way to remove the shaking of my pencil stroke, make the curve more curved. After I have traced.
IMAGE 1 - It’s a very rough example of what I want to do. But can you understand the idea? Make several layers giving “continuity” to the previous drawing. But I need to draw these explosions and lights with a smoother stroke.
IMAGE 2 - There is this function circled. I don’t know if it’s misconfigured (my mistake) but it doesn’t quite do what I need. It smooths, but changes the trajectory of the stroke VERY much.
Again, sorry for any mistakes. In my own language I’m not knowing how to express myself properly.
Hello! From your description it sounds like you are describing the brush weighting option. Whilst you have your brush selected, go to Tools Options, and next to ‘Brush Smoothing’ there will be a drop down box.
Basic = not really much weighting, it will follow your stylus strokes as they are. Best used for quick strokes.
Weighted = it will follow your stylus strokes with a slight delay as it smooths and corrects wobbles. You can adjust how much by with the ‘Distance’ bar.
Stabiliser = I’ve not used this one before but it looks like an even stronger way to smooth out your strokes and get rid of any wobbles.
For making a vecter curve more curved after you have done it, that sounds like the Bezier Curve Tool which I never use and quick frankly am diabolical at using. So hopefully someone else can come along and help you with smoothing out curves after you have made them. I only do freehand stuff so have no experience of that.
Is any of that what you were looking for?
Edit: I changed the title and category of your post to put it into General Questions and specify what the query is to attract people who may be able to help further.
(It’s the first time I’ve ever done this so I hope I’ve done it right Mods!)
If a vector shape is not in node/path form, you can use the Convert to Path button in the Tool Options docker when the shape is selected and using the Edit Shapes tool.
You have to do that with rectangles and ellipses.
For imported vectors files that may be grouped, you have to ungroup them to make changes to them.
