Help with Importing Brushes

I downloaded a brush, imported it to Krita, and I cannot find it anywhere.

I do not know what an .abr is, the file I used was a .jpg, it was a single brush texture.

All the tutorials I have found online are years out of date, and the version of Krita they use looks nothing like my own.

How do I find where Krita put my new brush? I just want to use it.

Thank you.

Something doesn’t sound right. Please provide the link where you got the brush. If it was a Krita .bundle file, it should be easy to step you through it.

I used this tutorial

https://www. youtube. com/watch?app=desktop&v=pKHXrWWMs8w

It included a link to the premade textures

I looked at the textures, selected the one I wanted, downloaded it, then imported it to Krita. Krita accepted the .jpg as easily as it accepted the .bundle files I got from the official Krita website, it did not give me any type of error. Unlike the bundles, the single brush does not show up in my my folder.

That’s not a brush you downloaded, it’s a texture image. You have to make the brush yourself following the YouTuber’s instructions.
