I was using the brush like normal when I noticed that when making a object the first stroke always starts with a delay and then a straight line. I know it’s not my tablet because this doesn’t happen in other apps like paint so it must be Kreta. Any help would be greatly appreciated
How long have you been using krita and how long have you been using that drawing tablet with krita?
Has that behaviour started recently or has it always been like that?
Which version of krita are you using and where did you get it from?
Which operating system are you using?
Which graphics tablet make and model are you using?
The initial straight line segment has been seen many times before and it’s because the tablet settings are not matched to the internal settings of krita.
If you’re using the Windows operating system, go to the krita settings as follows:
Settings → Configure Krita → Tablet settings, there wil be a choice of Wintab or Windows Ink options selected. Change that option then restart krita and see if the problem is still there.
If it is still there, more investigation will be needed, of the tablet configuration settings in the tablet driver utility.
