I’ve tried downloading text fonts, but I don’t understand how to make Krita detect them. I know that on a laptop you just press “install,” but on Android I don’t know what the procedure is. 
Either I don’t get it, or maybe it’s not possible yet. Help. I don’t like having to use other drawing apps just to add text, aaa.

There’s no way to install fonts using Krita – it uses whatever is installed on the operating system.
Have you tried getting an app from the Play Store to install fonts? I haven’t tried it but here’s one I found: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=zfont&c=apps
