I have made a custom font and I need to import it into krita’s text editor. How do I do it?

Fonts are always handled by the OS. Install the font, and it becomes available in every app that can use it. In Windows, just right-click the .otf and chose install.
Thanks, I installed the ttf instead of the otf, thanks for clearing that up.
It makes no difference if you install a font in TTF or in OTF.
