When drawing in vector form, I am using the freehand drawing tool which works great until you go to reshape the line/object you’ve drawn. At which point you’ll realize there’s no way to double click with an S Pen. So how to I add a node to the line.
Everything i see online including Kritas own user manual just has instructions for a mouse… But I’m on tablet. With no mouse to use… So how do I double click on my Vector line to add a Node? Please help. Thank you in advance. I am new so please be gentle lol
There may be other ways to do it, but here’s what I do.
Use the rectangle select tool to select the 2 nodes that are on either side of the location where the new node is desired. Select the edit node tool. Long press on the selected area and choose “insert point” from the popup menu.
Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to work for me either.
I used the freehand draw. Drew a line, curved with four nodes. I then spaced the nodes out so to only select two for this experiment. I used the rectangular select tool(the segmented rectangle one) and select the area. Switch back to the But I am unable to do a “Long Press” and get a drop down menu. You wouldn’t by any chance have a video or link that could show me what your saying? I’m just afraid I may be doing this wrong. I’m on a Samsung Tab S6 Lite 2022 edition. With just an S Pen. Idk if that’ll make a difference either.
I seriously love you! Thank you so much for that. You’re the best. Definitely thank you for the visual, I’m far to new for all the technical terms so that came in clutch. I appreciate you greatly.
If you wanna link it… I’ll take it. I’m brand new to all of this so anything will help. Even so maybe it’ll help someone with the same issues later. Never know. But I’ll definitely take it.
