hi, i’m using the aliciane brushpack, but for some reason it keeps blending with the line art even if i use a clipping mask group on a other layer. i’m i doing something wrong? like using the wrong type of layer?
If you are blending on top of it, even if it’s on another layer, yes it will blend. But sometimes it won’t(?) I guess it depends on the blending brush you’te using. Better be safe than sorry: just put the line art above everything else.

You have the line art on a separate layer, Layer 1 in this case?
I’m assuming that is a smudge engine brush you’re using for blending. Open the brush settings and make sure that the Overlay Mode option (between Scatter and Gradient) is disabled. That option makes the brush use all visible layers as input for the smudging, regardless if they’re above or below in the layer stack.
