I want to place one of my images over another, not-my image. How do I get my image into the other image?
Open any of the two images in Krita then simply drag the other one into the Krita window. If Krita asks how to import the other image chose ânew layerâ and âas webâ. Then you can arrange the layers as you like.
Iâm unsure Iâve understood your request, it is not enough for you to put it in a layer above the layer you want to see below? My problem is the wording âinto the other imageâ, what do you mean with that?
You can paste images into Krita, that you want to use together with other pictures, as reference pictures or as layers. Maybe Iâm too dumb to grasp what you want to do?
You can get images into existing images via drag and drop or via ââLayerââ >> ââImport/Exportââ where you have some options how to import this picture.
Here the options via drag & drop:

Import/Export seems to work for my purposes.
