How do I rename artwork in Krita?

Due to the layout of the key buttons on my tablets popup keyboard, I usually end up naming artwork such wonderful names as Un.kra and Untitl.kra due to tapping the enter key while trying to tap backspaces.

How do I give a work of art a new name?

The “recent documents” pane in the default window is chock full of files starting with U.

Also, how do I delete a work of art?

Thanks!

 Hello @pbr and welcome to the forum!

Therefore, you need your file manager. On Windows, it is usually the Explorer. On Linux, Dolphin is an often used file manager among many others. What it’s called under Android I don’t know, but I think you now know for what you have to look to rename or delete your artwork.

“My Files” usually, for android.

When i use the file manager, i dont see the changes in “recent documents”

I will experiment some more. Thank you!

Ouch! How is Krita supposed to know you changed the filename? Digital mind reading?
You must have opened the changed files at least once in Krita via “File” >> “Open” before they can show up there again.
