ut i wanna export an animation and i js installed ffmpeg but it gave me this

also i use a galaxy tab s6 lite and i cant really find much advice for people who use krita on a tablet and stuff like that, anyway does anyone know what im supposed to do?

At the moment, for version 5.1.5 and earlier versions, it wasn’t possible to have ffmpeg running on Android.
The 5.2 Release Candidate was intended to have ffmpeg baked in but there are teething problems:

A formal release of version 5.2 shouldn’t be too far away now so I suggest that you wait for that happy event.

Or, you could be brave and decide to get the 5.2 apk running on your tablet to help with the testing

This forum has many people who use krita on an Android tablet. Do a search for ‘Android’ or ‘tablet’ or ‘samsung’ or ‘galaxy’ with the search tool at the top of the main page.

thank you!! does the apk like import your work from the actual app?? if so then ill have no problem using the apk

Your artwork will not be affected at all. It’s stored in a different place from the app. However, there is something important you should do before trying the 5.2 apk.

Most of us on Android have highly customized workspaces. Make sure to name and save your current workspace. Then make a backup of your resource folder. All the setup files you need (including resourcecache.sqlite, kritarc, krita5.xmlgui, and kritadisplayrc) are included in this one folder.

You may need to use a file manager such as Total Commander to move around within your files because Android is so picky about that.

Your artwork is stored elsewhere so no worries about those getting overwritten.

PS - Welcome to the forum, @jyestr.

thank you so much!! ill install the apk later on, and again thank you for welcoming me!!
