Dumb question here… As you can see I’m using a premade uniform template I’m trying to mock up some camouflage on. What’s the best way to get the camo image to appear on the camo uniform? I am new to this so I don’t know the correct terms to use.

Have you tried playing with layer modes? Multiply might be good in this case as there is a lot of white on the jacket.
Excellent! My issue then becomes; how does one remove the remaining outline from the mockup? Would you reccomend a select tool to crop it out, or is there a smart way to do that with layers?
You can also experiment with other layer modes to achieve different effects. As for cropping, it can be done with a transparency mask. In this topic, you can get some mine free patterns, as well as a manual (in PDF) showing the basics of working with patterns.
To learn how to use transparency maks, see this tutorial:
Thank you!
It seems that @CelticCoco has set that video to not play outside of YouTube.
