I figured out my problem. I should have only modified one original with different paint layers above. I tried it that way and it worked exactly as I had envisioned it to work.

I am happy that you have now found a solution to your problem.
It is no longer necessary here, but if you need support again and are asked for a screenshot, please make sure that the status bar is fully displayed on the screenshot.
In your screenshot above, we can only see that your Krita would probably like to have more memory available (the yellow bar). Since we can’t see the rest of the information in the status bar, it’s all just guesswork.
