Hi, how do I copy 4 layers from one Krita file and past them into another Krita file?
I selected all the layers and then selected “Copy” and when I pasted into the other file it pasted the layers as a merged group.
I have searched for how to do this but cannot find it anywhere. Thanks.
How about group them up and copy the “Group”? Will it work?
If you copy several layers by selecting them in the layers panel, then you need to use the “copy layer” and “paste layer” commands. RMButton on the layers panel. They will work with both the group and the mask, and will retain the overlay mode. The usual ctrl+v is not suitable.
The upcoming Krita 5.1 (now in beta) can paste multiple layers with Ctrl+V too. It also takes the selection into account.
Grouping and then copy works fine to me.
