Hello! I just began using Krita, and was wondering how you increase the size of stuff like buttons and text within the program. I’m using a touchscreen with a pen and my fingers, so at the moment the icons and buttons within the program can be difficult to tap with my large fingers. Thanks for the help!
Hello and welcome to the forum
Someone else may be able to give advice for overall change of the UI size.
The Toolbox icon size can be adjusted by right-click any of the tool icons then selecting an icon size from a resulting options list.
There’s a Touch docker with several large icons/buttons on it that may be of use to you.
Do Settings → Dockers to get the list of dockers then enable Touch Docker.
You can adjust its width by grab-dragging the edge and dockers can be repositioned by grab-dragging its title bar at the top.
If you have a pen then maybe just use that all the time?
The size of UI elements is affected by the High-DPI Setting under Settings › Configure Krita › General › Window › Enable HiDPI support but also by your operating system’s window scaling.
Ah, thank you! My icons are a perfect size now!
