How to insert brush packs into Krita?

I started downloading some fresh and cool brushes for Krita, but how can I insert them into Krita file/software and use them?

As long as the brushes were made for Krita 5.0 or newer, you can import the bundles easily:

Oh…well…are there some great brush presets that you can recommend me? (as long as they are for 5.0.0. version and above, since all the presets I have found are not for 5.0.0.)

Hello @Pro_Mickey_Artist, here are lists of brushes I know about and like very much. They should work on Krita 5 (I had no problem on it personally).

There’s also a great list of brushes there on the Krita Artists community: Brushes and Bundles category.
Other resources can be found elsewhere as well, with keywords such as “brush krita 5 bundle” on search engines, on Deviantart, on Gumroad, on Reddit, etc.

I have great brushes made for and with Krita 2.9 working in Krita 5, so the Version brushes were made for should not be the measure to use.

To use bundles other than those Krita ship’s with, you should always enable all bundles Krita ship’s with in order to ensure the third party bundles to function, because some brush authors rely on resources from the original Krita bundles like brush tips, patterns, gradients, instead of importing them into their bundles. To enable the view of the original bundles, go via ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Manage Resource Libraries…’’ into the dialog to activate the bundles Krita_3_Default_Resources.bundle, Krita_4_Default_Resources.bundle, RGBA_brushes.bundle, there you can also import bundles or start the creation of new ones

But to look for all kinds of brush-sets, mainly newer ones, you should take more than a look in our resource category. And when you scroll to the very bottom of the page, so literally to the stop dog, the page will show more brush sets, do this as long as the site offers more brushes to get to know all of them and not to miss maybe those you are searching for.
You should take a look on everything you find made from @ Deevad and @ RamonM in the resource category,
Since you mentioned not the kind of art the brushes should be used for, I’ll name at first big general purpose sets, all of them are good, some even stunningly good in my eyes:

If you need paint on canvas, so really thick strokes of color, there is no way around @ emilm’s:
