I am trying to improve my lineart and notice one area I have trouble with is keeping lines at a consistent “straightness”.
I zoom in to my drawing and notice the imperfection such as this bundle of hair.
How can I make my lines straighter when I do lineart so I don’t have to go back to it?
By starting the right way around?
So first look for a brush that makes lines as you like them, so first try a lot, and then, when you have found “the right tool”, you can start working, that is, painting. Not before. Additionally, check your lines short after you made them, not when you are already coloring.

4 tips:
1 Use a not too much sensible to pressure brush.
2 Use Stabilizers with moderate values
3 After you draw the lines erase imperfections.
4 Use vector Lines to keep a solid continuos line.
I hope this helps at least as a starting point, and as @Michelist said, practice a lot. Clean line is not easy.

Practice drawing long lines in one go, especially for hair you want swift long lines. Draw from the elbow and shoulder when doing this.
-
Make sure you’re comfortable with the pen and its pressure.
-
Don’t draw zoomed in, if the lines are too big on the screen it will mean longer motions you have to maintain in one go.
^each line is one stroke, two lines per “hair strand”. I also erased the overshoot.
It’s hard and getting the right shape often takes a few attempts: draw → ctrl+z → draw → ctrl+z etc…
If you want outlined hair focus on keeping good lines and shape. If you have an underdrawing only use it as a general guiding idea, hair needs to be fluid so if you slow down to copy the underdrawing it won’t look right.
I highly encourage experimenting with different settings and finding the right settings for the job. I’m still trying to find the right brush for hair. Currently, I’m experimenting with a flat brush that uses Rotation/drawing angle with it locked.
