I am not able to export my recording into a video!

Type of device* : Laptop
Brand and version of the device: HP
System** : Windows 11

Hello! I am making a sketch and trying to record a timelapse, but whenever I export it, it is always showing conversion failed, I have added a screenshot.

No matter how many times I catiously intall ffmpeg, the problem wouldn’t be rectified.

Is there any solution for this?

Hello @Prachi_Garg and welcome to the forum

That particular error has been seen a few times recently and should be easy to fix.
First some questions:

Which version number of krita are you using?
Where did you get it from?

Where did you download ffmpeg from?

I’ll guess that you’re using ffmpeg version 7.0.1 from the gyan website.
If you are then you should use version 6.1.1 from here:
https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/packages/ffmpeg-6.1.1-essentials_build.zip

If my guess is correct then please try that 6.1.1 version and let us know if it fixes the problem.

If not, you’ll be asked further questions.
If it doesn’t work, please upload a screenshot of the entire contents of the Recorder docker and also the Export Timelapse window.

Note: You don’t “install” ffmpeg. It just sits there waiting to be used by krita as an executable.
