I watched Ramon’s YouTube video today:
I also downloaded the templates and placed them in my templates folder.
Yet, they didn’t appear when I opened a new document after closing and reopening Krita.
What could be the problem? Ramon’s video mentioned he used Krita version 5.2.6, but I’m using version 5.2.10. Could that be the cause?
I use an iMac with an Intel processor and Mac OS Ventura.

Did you unzip the downloaded archive before you put the folder it contains into Kritas folder for templates, named templates, found in the resource folder of Krita?
Usually, you reach Krita’s resource folder via Settings > Manage Resources... > Open Resource Folder, by the way, on Apple PCs the settings menu is found elsewhere.

On my iMac, I created a Krita section in Finder with Templates in it. I placed the downloaded files there. Krita doesn’t recognize them, even though I did place the link to the downloaded files in settings/resources:
Users/XXXXXX/PHOTOS/Software/Krita/Templates/Fine Arts Papers Templates
On my iMac, under Apps, I also find Krita (HD/Apps/Krita 5.2.10/contents), but I don’t find any subdirectory “templates” there.
So I don’t know what you mean by ‘Krita’s folder for templates’.
Please stop formatting all your posts as code it makes them very hard to read.
It’s not enough to put the files in any folder with the same name it must be the folder in Krita’s resource directory.
You can find the correct location by pressing this button
Pressing the button opens your file browser, then put the template files into the templates folder in that directory, a link is not enough (whatever you mean by that but probably not a symlink).
Not any template folder you created somewhere, it must be this one exactly.

You wrote that I put everything in code... All I do is write a text in LibreOffice, translate it into English, and then copy/paste it into Krita. So, I don't put anything in code...? I don't know how to avoid "putting everything in code."
Now this morning I noticed something even more horrific. My personal workspaces have disappeared! Perhaps as a result of my attempts to make those templates visible. Yesterday I also made quite a few changes to the tools. Those changes are gone, but now I see that even my personal brushes are gone. That's really annoying.
If I do what you wrote: I click on "open source folder," Krita takes me to the directory I created in my iMac's Finder. So, my files are indeed in the right place? But I don't see them in Krita when I create a new document.
I think that happens when they paste the translated text here. Not sure why.

I did some research work myself.
As I wrote, I downloaded the templates in my Imac at a specific location in Finder.
Then in Krita/preferences/general/ressources, I placed the link to the templates in Finder in my iMac.I hoped that if I started Krita again, I would see the templates, but that was not the case.
If I then I did go to Open sources as indicated by Takiro (Settings/Manage Ressources/Open Resource Folder), I found Templates there, but if I click on that I see nothing.
If I try to copy Finder’s templates to the templates that Takiro designates, I get a message: “The “Fine Arts Papers Templates” (from Ramon) cannot be copied to itself.”
And as mentioned, in the meantime I lost all my settings (both brushes, personal workspaces, patterns, favorite brushes…) Everything, whoops away,…
I was looking for another topic that deals with replacing settings. I found one and tried what it recommended, but that doesn’t make any sense either. So, okay, all my settings are gone.
And, I also see that you don’t immediately know what to answer to this topic. But that’s not so bad. I think Krita is a fantastic program and I give a big compliment to all the people who help Krita evolve!
Therefore: I am going to close my question. Not because the problem has been solved, but I have given enough information about what the problem was. The specialists who have time can quietly check what it has to do if they want.
Meanwhile, I’m going to try to download a new version of Krita. I now have 5.2.10. I believe the latest version is 5.2.15. And I will try to parameterize all my favorites and the like again. As I already pointed out in my first posting, to which @Takiro then offered the belonging screenshot, when you opened Krita’s resource folder via Settings > Manage Resources... > Open Resource Folder you have to copy the whole unpacked folder from the archive you have downloaded into that folder templates found there and then restart Krita two times. And you urgently should restore the original path in Settings > Configure Krita > General in the tab Resources!

What you use to translate does not matter. After you paste your content just make sure you undo all the formatting you accidentally pasted in with the text.
Perhaps it is better to download this translator for macOS from DeepL.com and use that instead and write your texts in it, even its free version is more than sufficient for most non-commercial use cases. Currently, they support ~110 languages, so there is a good chance that yours is among them.
With it, you’ll get one of the world’s best translators, with usually (but not always) far better translations than Google Translate and Bing. Although it is a relatively young company, more and more translation plugins/Add-ons for browsers add it to their list of engines to use. Some even recommend using it as the main translation engine for their plugins/Add-ons because they are so convinced of its quality.
Also, it shouldn’t add these disturbing control characters your LibreOffice brought in.
Without registration, you can translate 1500 characters per translation, with registration it is raised to 5000, for that they only want an email which is able to receive mails (even some temporary services are accepted) and a password from you. And in the case you have the money and go for their paid service, you get a lot more.
But it is very expensive, their main field of customers is companies and the translator as well as the other offered services are all optimized for professional use.
