I’m increasingly using Krita as my main painting software. My hope is to say goodbye to Windows and embrace Linux and Krita for good.
Wow this is amazing! Love what you’ve done with the brushes, you’ve accomplished a level of texture and flow that I aspire to. I especially enjoyed zooming in on the netting and facial features–amazing brush strokes.
Fantastic work! wow!
Thank you! Using the Memileo brush set in Krita was the first time, painting digitally, that I felt comfortable with digital tools. I’m finally leaving photoshop behind for good.
Thank you!!
Agreed! I downloaded them recently and fell in love. I also really enjoy David Revoy’s 2023 brush pack; they’re less “heavy” than Memileo’s but still offer a lot of dynamic interactions and mimic traditional media well. He just uploaded a 2025 update but I haven’t been able to try them out yet.

They’re really fun, but resource intensive. I’m gonna have to try allocating more RAM next time I use them. Krita crashed when I was experimenting.
Thanks for the showing me these other brush sets. I will try them out right away!
Are Frog’s brushes as heavy as Memileo’s? If so, I can postpone buying a new computer…
Yeah they’re pretty heavy! Really textured too. I like the acrylic brushes a lot and found that the watercolor blend brush mixes colors really nicely. Just be prepared for some lag.
